Andrew has worked as an accountant in public practice for over 30 years. He can assist with all aspects of your business needs including accounting and income tax advice, GST & FBT issues, employment and payroll, budgeting and business planning, as well as systems implementation and advice.

Andrew is married to Briony and they have two adult sons, Oliver and Finlay.

Andrew is a keen cyclist, and as well as regularly commuting by bike he enjoys getting out on the mountain biking tracks in the Port Hills.

Leslie McAuley B.Com C.A (P.P.)

Leslie was born in South Otago. She grew up and was educated in the South Canterbury region. After her high school education, she worked for 17 years in the dairy industry as well as keeping up with accounting interests. After leaving the dairy industry Leslie was given the opportunity to move from Highlander country to take up her current position in February 2001. Originally employed as an Accounting Technician she gained her Associated Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification in November 2009. Leslie has had the opportunity to grow with the business obtaining a broad knowledge of the day to day running of the practice. Leslie's main business focus is compiling annual and management financial statements, and managing our tax system. She is a certified Xero and MYOB consultant along with other software products.

Outside of work Leslie enjoys being a member of Garden City Rotary, improving her golf, a bit of gardening, walking her Bichon/Maltese dog, Jack and spending quality time with her two daughters who are in their mid twenties.

Hamish Duggan B.Com

Hamish graduated from Canterbury University with a B.Com in 2006. He joined Paul Duggan & Associates in April 2010 after working as a management Accountant at Donaghys Industries Ltd. Hamish's main focus in the office is the preparation of tax returns, company and trust financial statements.

Outside of work, Hamish enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing golf. He is also actively involved in the Seventh-day Adventist church community, serving on the Christchurch Adventist School Board of Trustees, and also serving in different ministries at Kaiapoi Seventh-day Adventist church including treasury and children's ministries.

Hamish is married to Tania and welcomed thebirth of their three kids, Corban, in July 2013, Madison in March 2015, and Annabelle in August 2017. They own a house in Redwood Springs, and a mischievous spoodle named Maverick and a cat named Smudge.

Liz is a tried-and-true Cantabrian and apart from 5 years spent in Marlborough has lived in Christchurch all her life. She started working in accountancy longer than she would care to admit and has working at Paul Duggan and Associates Limited since 2003. Over the years she has prepared financial statements for a large variety of clients involved in many industries and specialises in the preparation of Trust financial statements.

Shani has been employed at Paul Duggan & Associates since February 2009. She provides administrative support to all the staff as well as trust and company administration. Previously she has worked in the banking and education sector.

Outside of work Shani enjoys spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. Other interests include reading and while not actively involved in sport, Shani enjoys watching sport particularly tennis, softball, rugby and league.
